I spent my early years growing up on a farm in northwest Ohio. In the early spring you could usually find me in a woods somewhere looking for morel mushrooms alone or either with my dad Ray or my aunt Mildred. With this early fascination and love of morels it was only a matter of time before I combined it with my other love of drawing and painting. I feel that one of the joys of morel hunting is the many pleasant memories associated with such excursions. I try to capture and portray these fond memories within my artwork.
