I love getting up early in the morning skipping breakfast and heading down the lane in my quest for the giant morel.

When you are young and everything that you discover new in life is fascinating and mysterious, it is sometimes like living in a fantasy world not being able to distinquish reality from imagination. The world of mushrooms has long been associated with mystery and fscination and you can see this same fascination in the faces of these young explorers. Imagine what it would have been like if the first time you found a morel, and no one was there to explain it to you.

Ducks coming in for a landing, sun just coming up and morels growing next to a stream. Pinch me I think that I'm in a dream, or is this the way I've always wanted my life to be. This is just the kind of event and setting that I want to share with someone.
